HLTAID014 Advanced First Aid for business
First Aid 000 is passionate about delivering business first aid training that is engaging, fun entertaining, practical, innovative and tailored to suit a diverse range of organisations and workplaces.
Challenging situations, such as multiple casualty incidents, having to move or extricate casualties, or treating potentially fatal illnesses and injuries are high risk. It is imperative that training occurs to be able to know what to do when confronted with a real-life incident.
This course provides practical simulated real-life situations to learn and gain the confidence to coordinate and manage response and provide advanced first aid in line with legal and workplace considerations until emergency services arrive.
Instruction on basic first aid and CPR will be provided, as well as treatments specific to advanced conditions, such as hypothermia or hyperthermia, head, neck and spinal injuries, using tourniquets and haemostatic dressings for life-threatening bleeding, and managing a casualty in shock.
We understand each business is different, hence our training solutions are flexible and include:
- Female, overweight and children CPR manikins. Are your male staff prepared to do CPR and to place AED pads on a female staff member?
- REAL AEDs in training mode,
- Real-life training and scenarios that will strengthen and prepare your team.
- Stop the Bleed training (serious bleeding is the leading course of death, unfortunately, most first aid training is woefully inadequate).
- CPR Face Mask training
- Remote Worker First Aid
- Oral and Nasal Oropharyngeal Airways
