HLTAID013 Provide First Aid In Remote Or Isolated Site
HLTAID013 Provide First Aid in Remote or Isolated Site for workers.
Remote Worker First Aid is the immediate care given to an injured or suddenly ill worker when you are more than an hour from definitive care (Medical Centre/Hospital), access and communications are limited. ‘Remote First Aid’ will give you the advanced skills and knowledge required to provide the best care to your patient, to coordinate the emergency response whilst waiting for an extended period of time for help to arrive.
This is highly practical and focused on developing skills you can put into practice in real emergency scenarios. It provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in a remote or isolated site over an extended period of time until medical assistance is provided, or evacuation occurs. It applies to any site where medical assistance is likely to be delayed.
First Aid 000 is uniquely positioned to offer this outstanding Remote Worker First Aid skill set combined with further training opportunities that will increase your ability to respond to and manage remote wilderness emergencies. These additional National accredited training opportunities include:
